Description

Glimepiride, Pioglitazone & Metformin Hydrochloride (ER) Tablets – A combination of three antidiabetic medicines, Glimepiride, Pioglitazone, and Metformin are used in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus. These medicines help in controlling blood sugar levels. Available with the brand name ZULIP-GP1, these tablets are manufactured and supplied by the Best Glimepiride, Pioglitazone & Metformin Hydrochloride Tablet Manufacturer, Arlak Biotech.

Mechanism of Action

When one or dual therapy is ineffective, Glimepiride, Pioglitazone & Metformin work through various ways to provide better control of blood sugar levels.

Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that works by lowering blood glucose by increasing the insulin amount that the pancreas releases.

Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione that acts by reducing the amount of glucose that the liver produces while making the tissues more sensitive to the actions of insulin.

Metformin is a biguanide that functions by reducing the liver’s ability to produce glucose, slowing the intestine’s ability to absorb glucose, and increasing the sensitivity of the body to insulin.
