Zefax-SB Tablets are a combination antibiotic designed to provide potent, broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. By pairing Cefixime with Sulbactam, the formulation effectively targets resistant bacterial strains, making it ideal for treating complicated infections that may not respond to standard antibiotics alone.
Composition
Each tablet contains a combination of two powerful antibacterial agents:
Cefixime – A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a broad spectrum of bacterial infections.
Sulbactam – A beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents the degradation of Cefixime by beta-lactamase-producing bacteria, enhancing its effectiveness.
