Description
SKIPFLU 75 is an antiviral medication containing Oseltamivir Phosphate, a neuraminidase inhibitor effective against influenza A and B viruses. It helps reduce the severity and duration of flu symptoms when initiated early and is also used in the prevention of influenza during seasonal outbreaks or after exposure.
Oseltamivir Phosphate (75 mg)
Prodrug converted in the liver to the active metabolite Oseltamivir carboxylate.
Inhibits viral neuraminidase enzyme, preventing release of new viral particles.
Limits viral replication and spread within the respiratory tract.
Indications
SKIPFLU 75 is indicated for

Treatment of acute, uncomplicated influenza infection in adults and adolescents (≥13 years) who have been symptomatic for not more than 48 hours.

Post-exposure prophylaxis of influenza following close contact with an infected individual.
