Aripiprazole Tablets IP 10 mg
Each tablet contains Aripiprazole 10 mg (active ingredient). Aripiprazole is a third-generation (atypical) antipsychotic with partial agonist activity at dopamine D₂ and serotonin 5-HT₁A receptors and antagonist activity at 5-HT₂A receptors.
Indications (typical approved uses)
ZOLPRIA (aripiprazole) is commonly used for:

Schizophrenia in adults and adolescents (varies by product/region).

Acute mania and maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder.

Adjunctive treatment of major depressive disorder (when used with an antidepressant).

Tourette’s disorder and irritability associated with autism spectrum disorder (selected pediatric patients).
Typical dosing (general guidance only)

Adults with schizophrenia – initial 10–15 mg once daily; usual target 10–15 mg/day; dose range 10–30 mg/day.

Adjunctive for MDD – lower initial doses often used (for example 2–5 mg then titrated as indicated; usual max ~15 mg/day).
