Description

NAPROXEN 500 MG + DOMPERIDONE 10 MG belongs to the group of medications called analgesics. It treats migraine headaches. Naproxen+Domperidone is available in the market at Arlak Biotech under the brand name NEPREST-D. Neprest-D is used to reduce pain in rheumatoid arthritis, gout, dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), and migraines. Migraine is a condition characterized by intense headaches. Neprest-D reduces extreme levels of pain. Pain is a symptom that occurs due to various underlying conditions in the human body. Neprest-D is a combination of two drugs: Naproxen and Domperidone where naproxen works by blocking the action of the cyclo-oxygenase enzyme in the body that produces certain chemical substances such as prostaglandins that cause pain and swelling. Domperidone in the Neprest-D tab is an antiemetic agent that prevents nausea and vomiting symptoms by blocking certain receptors (like dopamine and serotonin) that provoke the vomiting center which is located in the brain.

Take Neprest-D as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Neprest-D for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Common side effects of Neprest-D are dryness of the mouth, abdominal pain, constipation, visual disturbances, drowsiness, dizziness, hearing problems, and headache. Consult your doctor if you feel any discomfort. Before taking Neprest-D, let your doctor know about all your allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to medicines or food. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please tell your doctor so that your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing Neprest-D to you. Also, inform the doctor if you have a history of heart rhythm problems or ulcers due to painkillers before consuming  Neprest-D tablets. Patients with ages above 65 years, pre-existing cardiac diseases such as heart failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, hypertension or stroke, gastric ulcers, respiratory diseases such as asthma, liver diseases, kidney diseases, or bleeding disorders should use Neprest-D only when prescribed by a doctor.

Medical Benefits of Naproxen and Domperidone Tablets

Neprest-D is a combination of two medicines, Naproxen and Domperidone. Neprest-D also increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
